Our staff Registered Dietitian is certified and an athlete who specializes in advising athletes what to eat to have more power and energy. If it works for a triathlete competing in an Iron Man, imagine what her advice can do for the average person who just wants to be healthier.
Chris Arcure has been a CrossFit enthusiast for 6 years. He jumped on the CrossFit bandwagon as complementary training to his martial arts training. Chris has practiced Olympic style Tae Kwon Do for 16 years, and fought full contact for 12 years (117 Fights). He also practices Hapkido for 4 years, as well as Krav Maga and Klingon Mok’bara for a year.
In addition to Chris' role as a Joust trainer, he currently coaches strength and conditioning for Ypsi High School Girls Volleyball and Girls Soccer. He also consults on other sports at the school.
On what he finds most rewarding about coaching others, Chris said, "Seeing the progress that people can make with hard work; witnessing someone push to get results they thought were impossible makes me love coaching."
Chris is certified as a USA Weightlighting sport performance coach and a United Tae Kwon Do federation instructor. He is a 2nd degree black belt Tae Kwon Do, and 1st degree black belt Hapkido.
Chris is a car nut who's enthusiastic about anything with horse power. He's also a big fan of Michigan football.
