We challenge you to do what you think you can’t, because we know how to find the strength you didn’t know you had. We’re passionate about coaching you to harness that strength. We want you to be your best, strongest and fittest, in the game of sports and the game of life.

Our staff Registered Dietitian is certified and an athlete who specializes in advising athletes what to eat to have more power and energy. If it works for a triathlete competing in an Iron Man, imagine what her advice can do for the average person who just wants to be healthier.

My love affair with lactic acid and oxygen depravation began when I was 5 year old and started swimming competitively. By 13, I was also active in team sports including volleyball, field hockey, and lacrosse. By 15, I was living in upstate NY competitively mountain biking every weekend during the season, and instructing snowboarding during the winter. By 18, I was playing lacrosse for the University of Michigan, and was an active member of the rock climbing team. I have always been drawn to pushing my body to the limit beyond which I think possible, and then surpassing that.

I was introduced to crossfit and weight lifting after having my daughter in 2003. I weighed 200 pounds, and was getting little success from the treadmill and weight machines at my traditional gym. By incorporating heavy weight into my workouts, I was able to build muscle, increase my metabolism, and lose the weight. The great bonus was learning a form of fitness and health that is sustainable throughout my life. I can workout alone, or with a group. I can workout any time of the day. I can workout while traveling, or while home with my family. My fitness has become a way of life.
